The Creighton University Chamber Choir is performing at its first ever regional conference for North Central ACDA in Madison, WI. The selections include Lassus' La nuict froide et sombre, Monteverdi's Sfogava con le stelle, Rheinberger's Abendfriede, Schumann's An die Sterne, and Zhou Long's Words of the Sun. Quite a drive, but would love to see any of you there!

The Creighton University Chamber Choir joins the University Orchestra under my direction to present Bach's Cantata 140, Wachet auf, as well as some a cappella selections. The University Chorus will perform Vivaldi's Gloria.

The River City Mixed Chorus presents a sampling of American popular song, from Detroit's Motown to West Coast rock to New Orleans jazz and everything in between! Take a musical trip around the country with us, as I present my first set of concerts as Artistic Director of the RCMC! With Country and Broadway also, there's something for everyone.
The Chamber Choir opens this combined concert of all of the ensembles of the Fine and Performing Arts Department with Dominick Argento's I Hate and I Love, a cycle for chorus and percussion. Also on the concert is the University Chorus and the University Symphony Orchestra premiering Dr. Frederick Hanna's Symphony No. 1.

For this Midterm Choral Concert, the Chamber Choir is offering selections in honor of retiring Creighton president John P. Schlegel, S.J., including Bruckner's Os Justi, three arrangements of the Our Father text (Arensky, Durufle, and Dubra), and others. The University Chorus will present selected movements from Britten's The Company of Heaven.

The Chamber Choir will be performing Victoria's, Poulenc's, and Lauridsen's O Magnum Mysterium alongside other traditional holiday pieces, while the University Chorus will officially kick-off the Christmas season with Susa's A Christmas Garland.

The Chamber Choir's first conference performance is themed Songs of Anguish and includes Tristis est anima mea by Lassus, Triste estaba el Rey David by Rodrigo, El Grito by Cavallaro, Bruckner's Christus factus est, and William Dawson's Soon-Ah Will Be Done.
The Chamber Choir presents a preview of their upcoming performance at the Nebraska Music Educators Association Annual Conference in Lincoln with works by Lassus, Byrd, Rodrigo, Beethoven, Bruckner, and others. The Univeristy Chorus will be singing selected movements from Kodaly's Missa Brevis.

The Creighton University Chamber Choir presents Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass, featuring soprano Diane Owens, mezzo-soprano Wendy Eaton, tenor Patrick O'Halloran, and bass Samuel Spade, as well as the Creighton University Orchestra with guests from the Omaha Symphony.
There will also be performances by the Creighton University Chorus and Gospel Choir.

The Creighton University Chamber Choir will be performing in a Christmas concert with the other choral ensembles at Creighton- the University Chorus and the Gospel Choir. The concert will be at the gorgeous St. John's Church on the campus of Creighton University. The Chamber Choir's portion of the program will include works by Bruckner, Tavener, Rachmaninoff, Dett, Dubra, and others, as well as some traditional holiday favorites.
The Creighton University Chamber Choir, the auditioned ensemble which I conduct, will be performing a concert of Christmas music as part of the museum's Holidays Under Glass festivities.

Composition recital of Sarah Gibson, featuring a choral work based on poems of Carl Sandburg which I will be conducting. The piece will be performed by an ensemble of select singers and composers from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
